Jarrod King of Edinboro has been named the PSAC Wrestler of the Year for the second straight season, highlighting the 2009-10 PSAC postseason wrestling awards. Clarion freshman James Fleming is the PSAC Freshman of the Year, marking the second straight year that a Golden Eagles has claimed the PSAC award for the top freshman. Edinboro head coach Tim Flynn is the PSAC Coach of the Year, marking the fourth straight year that he has garnered the award. The PSAC wrestling awards are voted on by the head coaches in the PSAC from both the NCAA Division I and Division II wrestling programs. A total of 14 student-athletes from the PSAC will compete at this weekend's NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at the Qwest Center Omaha. Representatives from Edinboro, Lock Haven, Clarion, Bloomsburg and Millersville will all represent their schools and the PSAC at the championships.
