DAY 4 RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
The West Chester Rams completed the sweep of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Sunday evening in York, Pa.
 
WCU’s men claimed their 19th consecutive team title while the women notched their 11th in a row.
 
On the women’s side, freshman Georgia Wright was named the Most Outstanding Swimmer after claiming six victories in the championship; including a record-setting mark in the 1650 free in 16:37.21 and a win in the women’s 200 backstroke (2:00.17) on Sunday. Wright won the 200 back, 1000 free, 500 free and was a leg in the 400 medley relay and 800 free relay.
 
On the men’s side, two-time PSAC Men’s Swimmer of the Year Victor Polyakov claimed his second consecutive Most Outstanding Swimmer award after claiming five victories over the four-day event; including a win in the men’s 100 free with a sparkling time of 44.45. The senior finished the day off with a second-place finish as a part of the men’s 400 freestyle relay.
 
WCU’s Trey Shackleton won cruised to a win in men’s 1650 freestyle with a time of 15:50.35. Teammate Geoff Boodey earned second (16:02.42) while Bloomsburg freshman Doug Boehme (16:10.48) was third.
 
Clarion junior Ben Spencer impressed when he set a PSAC record in the men’s 200 backstroke, after only needing 1:49.08 to complete the race.
 
Bloomsburg’s quartet of Sam Feiser, Josh Grzech, Kyle Dix and Eric Usbeck produced a PSAC record in the men’s 400 freestyle relay after turning in a time of 2:59.28.
 
WCU senior Mike Oliver set a meet record in the men’s 200 breaststroke after turning in a time of 1:57.50.
 
WCU’s women earned the win in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:28.27.
 
California senior Jade Arganbright ended her PSAC career in style when she claimed the win in the 200 breaststroke in 2:15.99.
 
WCU freshman Meghan Keithly won the 100 free in 51.41.
 
The NCAA DII Swimming Championships take place March 8-11 in Birmingham, Ala.

DAY 3 RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
Four meet records fell on day three of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Saturday evening in York, Pa.

West Chester freshman Georgia Wright continued her impressive first-year campaign and broke an 11-year old meet record (4:56.23; 2/18/2005) in the women's 500 free after posting a time of 4:52.61.

Bloomsburg junior Josh Grzech posted a new conference meet record in the men's 100 backstroke with a time of 49.20 seconds. Teammate A.J. Brady claimed second in 50.28.

WCU's Eric Long broke his own conference meet record in the men's 200 fly after turning in a time of 1:48.07.

The Rams Mike Oliver needed 54.06 to win the men's 100 breaststroke and to set a new PSAC meet record while Eric Usbeck finished in a close second in 54.23.

WCU freshman Meghan Keithly added another top finish to her name with a victory in the women's 200 butterfly after using a time of 2:02.88 and besting her competition by more than four seconds.

California's Jade Arganbright won the women's 100 breaststroke by two seconds after notching a time of 1:02.31.

Clarion junior Summer Dacheux won the women's 100 backstroke in 56.97.

WCU's women produced a winning quartet in the 800 freestyle relay and needed a time of 7:35.34 to win the event.

On the men's side, WCU claimed the top time by more than 10 seconds after only needing 6:40.02 to earn the win.

Victor Polyakov won the men's 500 freestyle in 4:30.43.

West Chester's men leads the pack with 731 points while Bloomsburg is in second with 626.

WCU's women hold a comfortable lead with 1349 points while BU sits second with 771.5.

The final day commences at 10 a.m. with prelims and finals start at 5:10 p.m.

DAY 2 RECAP
YORK, Pa. --- Three PSAC records fell in the second day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Friday evening in York, Pa.

Bloomsburg's Sam Feiser set his second PSAC record in as many days after setting a besting his own mark in the 100 butterfly in 48.52 seconds. Feiser notched the PSAC record last season with a time of 48.57 (Feb. 19, 2016).

The junior joined teammates Eric Usbeck, A.J. Brady and Kyle Dix to post a conference record in the 400 medley relay after posting a time of 3:15.53.

West Chester quartet Morgan Haney, Tess Hayward, Meghan Keithly and Mikaela Lantz set a new conference standard in the women's 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.63.

Bloomsburg paced the field in the men's 200 freestyle relay in 1:22.27 while WCU (1:22.85) and Gannon (1:24.91) completed the top three.

Shippensburg Stephanie O'Toole continued her championship success with the best time in the women's 400 IM with a time of 4:24.93.

WCU's Mike Oliver set a meet record in the men's 400 IM after posting a time of 3:51.96 while teammate Thomas McCormick was second (3:57.61) and Clarion's Ben Spencer grabbed third (4:01.12).

Keithly led the field in the women's 100 butterfly in 55.82 while IUP's Regan Chalk turned in a second-place time of 56.99. Edinboro's Yana Miletska claimed third with a time of 57.03.

WCU's Hayward won the women's 200 freestyle in 1:50.96 while BU's Becca Cubbler and WCU's Sydney Wareham tied for second with a time of 1:51.55.

WCU senior Victor Polyakov added another first-place finish to his name after winning the men's 200 freestyle in 1:37.68.

The Rams won the women's 400 medley relay in 3:49.74.

WCU leads the men's standings with 478 points while BU is a close second with 418. Clarion sits third with 188.

WCU paces the women's field with 893 points while BU holds second with 457.5.

DAY 1 RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
A pair of conference swimming records fell on the opening day of the 2017 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Thursday evening in York, Pa.

West Chester freshman Georgia Wright broke teammate Theresa Hayward's (3/9/2016) conference record in the women's 1000 freestyle after posting a time of 9:54.86. The freshman bested the competition by 15 seconds while WCU and Bloomsburg were responsible for seven of the top eight spots in the event.

Bloomsburg sophomore Sam Feiser set the PSAC mark in the men's 50 freestyle with a sparkling time of 19.98. The record was previously held by current teammate and senior Eric Usbeck (12/2/2016).

WCU's Victor Polyakov continued his storied career after claiming the top spot in the men's 1000 freestyle in a time of 9:17.08. WCU claimed the top three spots in the event.

Shippensburg sophomore Stephanie O'Toole grabbed gold in the women's 200-yard IM after posting a time of 2:03.60. WCU's Megan Burns (2:06.06) and Edinboro's Yana Miletska (2:06.68) finished second and third, respectively.

WCU junior Thomas McCormick set a pool record in the men's 200 IM with a time of 1:48.49. Teammate Michael Oliver finished second (1:49.21) while Clarion junior Ben Spencer was good for third (1:50.08).

Another pool record fell after WCU freshman Meghan Keithly completed the women's 50 freestyle in 23.46 seconds. Fellow Ram Mikaela Lantz claimed second (23.50) while California's Jade Arganbright earned third (23.84).

WCU won the women's 200 medley relay in 1:44.62 while Edinboro (1:44.75) and Shippensburg (1:47.42) rounded out the top three.

Bloomsburg's men garnered the win in the 200 medley relay in the evening's last event while WCU and IUP were second and third.

On the women's side, West Chester holds a healthy lead with 414 points while Bloomsburg sits second with 201 and Edinboro is third with 185.

West Chester's men lead the pack with 224 points while BU is second with 289 and Clarion is third with 79.

CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. ---
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships will take place February 16-19 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.

West Chester's men claimed its 18th consecutive title in 2016 after posting 976 points while Bloomsburg (801) and IUP (456) rounded out the top three.

WCU's Victor Polyakov looks to continue his storied career after setting the 1000-yard freestyle PSAC record in 2014 with a time of 9:04.20. He enters the championship as the top seed in six events and has won the PSAC Men's Swimmer of the Year for three consecutive seasons.

Bloomsburg holds the top three seeds in the 50-yard freestyle and the top seed in the 200-yard medley and freestyle relay.

On the women's side, West Chester's women has won 10 consecutive titles after posting 715.5 points while Bloomsburg (626) and IUP (443) finished second and third, respectively.

WCU's Georgia Wright has made a splash in her freshman campaign while claiming the top seed in three events and a top-five ranking in two others.

Shippensburg's Stephanie O'Toole has impressed this season and has posted a top-10 seed time in nine events.

Events will commence each day at 10 a.m. Finals will start at 6 p.m., except for Sunday (5 p.m.).
