Volleyball: Northwest Division Athlete of the Week: 
6909 Challen Litwiler
Edinboro (Jr. / OH)
Harmonsburg, Pa. / Conneaut Area


Litwiler was a key component in her team’s 3-0 week, helping her Edinboro squad run its winning streak to seven straight matches.  In the Fighting Scots first contest of the week, she tied for a team high with nine kills and added 12 digs in a 3-0 triumph over Notre Dame College.  She then posted eight kills with a .438 hitting percentage, and totaled 15 digs in straight sets over LeMoyne.  Litwiler closed out the week by rallying her team from a 2-1 deficit by registering a team-high 15 kills, along with 14 digs in a five-set win over St. Rose. 

Volleyball: Southwest Division Athlete of the Week: 
6910 Taylor Braunagel
Clarion (Jr. / OH)
Milford, Pa. / Delaware Valley


Braunagel was consistent over the course of four matches at the WLU/WJU Invitational, averaging 3.08 kills per set against a field that included the defending national champion. Her best match of the weekend included 13 kills and a .367 attack percentage performance against West Liberty in a true road match at the tournament. She also added four digs, three aces and three blocks against the Hilltoppers.

Volleyball: Central Divison Athlete of the Week: 
6911 Maura Brehl
Pitt-Johnstown (So. / OH)

Brehl hit .318 for the week, totaling 32 kills, 17 digs and seven blocks as Pitt-Johnstown reeled off three straight wins.  In a pair of four-set wins, she posted 13 kills, nine digs and four blocks vs. Alderson-Broaddus and had 12 kills and seven digs vs. Charleston.  Brehl also hit a highly efficient .417 with seven kills and three blocks in a straight-set triumph over Ohio Valley.

Volleyball: Southeast Division Athlete of the Week: 
6839 Brittney Moyer
Kutztown (So. / LS)
Orwigsburg, Pa. / Blue Mountain (Lock Haven)


Moyer posted 69 kills last week, 3.45 per set, in five matches for Kutztown. She hit .172 during the stretch and capped her season-opening streak of matches with double-digit kills at nine. Her best performance of the week was a 23-kill performance vs. Wilmington, when she also added 17 digs. For the week, Moyer had 64 digs with six service aces. She continues to lead the division and ranks second in the PSAC at 3.62 kills/set.
