Bloom's Daniel Neiswender Earns Men's Cross Country Champion Scholar Award

KUTZTOWN, Pa. --- Bloomsburg junior Daniel Neiswender has been named the PSAC Men’s Cross Country Champion Scholar, the league announced Saturday following the PSAC Cross Country Championships on the campus of Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pa.
Neiswender is a two-time Scholar Champion after gaining honors for outdoor track and field in 2015.
The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 89 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 89 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III.
The Lebanon, Pa., native and Cedar Crest graduated has amassed 79 credits towards his nursing degree and sports a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
