PSAC Volleyball Athletes of the Week - 6 Tuesday, October 13, 2015 2:30 PM Volleyball: East Athlete of the Week Cambria Wierman Pitt-Johnstown (So. / OH) Hanover, Pa. / Delone Catholic Wierman wins PSAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the Eastern Division for the second consecutive week after leading UPJ to three conference wins, maintaining an umblemished conference record for the team. Wierman hit .327 in the three matches, recording 40 kills. She led the team in kills against Lock Haven and East Stroudsburg and was second on the team in kills against Kutztown, a game in which she was also tied for the team lead in digs (12). Volleyball: West Athlete of the Week Maggie Murray Seton Hill (So. / S) Erie, Pa. / Erie McDowell Murray led the Griffins to a 3-0 week in PSAC play. She ran the SHU offense, finishing the week with 94 assists (8.6/set). She also added 12 kills (hitting .379) with 19 total blocks, 23 digs and a pair of service aces. Murray closed out the week with 7 kills in 12 attempts vs Clarion. She added 33 assists, 6 digs, and 5 blocks in the 3-1 win.
