Clarion's Schall Named PSAC Women's XC Champion Scholar
Kutztown, Pa. - Clarion's Milea Schall has been named the recipient of the PSAC Champion Scholar Award for the women's cross country championship.
The PSAC Champion Scholar Award, begun during the 2011-12 academic year, is modeled after the NCAA's Elite 89 award and honors the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 89 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship final sites of the 89 NCAA championships across all three divisions - I, II and III.
Schall, a junior, holds a flawless 4.0 grade point average and has completed 72 credits towards her degree in secondary education and English. The Rossiter native attended Punxsutawney High School.
