Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Amanda Raudabaugh-Shippensburg

Carlisle/Big Spring

Raudabaugh posted a 2:12 split in the 800-meter leg on the Ship Distance Medley Relay squad that posted an NCAA provisional qualifier time at the Penn State National Invitational. That time (if counted) would be the fastest in the PSAC in the 800 meters. Entering Friday, no Division II school had achieved an NCAA automatic or provisional qualifier in the Distance Medley Relay. Raudabaugh also broke the 22-year-old school record in the non-NCAA 500 meter event with a blistering time of 1:16.16 and later anchored in the 4x400 relay.

Ajavon took seventh place in the long jump at the Penn State National Invitational. The distance of 5.68m was an NCAA provisional qualifier and is currently first in the PSAC and 13th in Division II. In addition, Ajavon finished in fifth place in the triple jump at the Spire Midwest Indoor Open on Saturday.

Women’s Field Co-Athlete of the Week

Eshelman broke an 11-year old school record and moved to first place in the PSAC in the high jump with a measure of 5' 7" at the Bison Open and Multi at Bucknell University. This is also a NCAA provisional qualifier mark, which places her 13th in Division II and is two inches higher than her nearest conference competitor.
