Beegle, a national champ in the Distance Medley Relay last year, once again anchored the Shippensburg DMR squad with a NCAA automatic qualifier of 9:47.57. Beegle's stupendous 1,600-meter anchor leg split was 4:05 which (if counted) would also be a NCAA auto time. One day later, at the Bison Open at Bucknell, Beegle breezed through his 3K qualifier with a first-place time of 8:33.57 that currently ranks second in the PSAC.
