PSAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - 3

Lock Haven, Pa. - East Stroudsburg's Rose Mascoli and Devyn Emerich are this week's PSAC Women's Athletes of the Week after impressive finishes at the Mountain Hawk Invite at Lehigh University.

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
 
Rose Mascoli – East Stroudsburg
Junior - 5,000 M
Lebanon / Lebanon Catholic

Outdoor and cross country All-American Rose Mascoli displayed her talents indoors for the first time Friday night as she coasted to a first place finish in the 5,000 M. With a time of 17:42.89 she is currently first in the PSAC and eighth in the Division II rankings. Mascoli is just eight seconds off the NCAA provisional mark. This time also places her fourth in school history in the 5,000 M event.
 

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
 
Devyn Emerich – East Stroudsburg
Senior – High Jump
Bernville, Pa. / Tulpehocken

Emerich took first place in the high jump event at the Mountain Hawk Invitational. With a mark of 5-5, she is currently tied for first in PSAC standings with a fellow teammate. The senior is just .75 inches short of the NCAA provisional mark.
