Edinboro's Jason Borst and East Stroudsburg's Drew Miller have been named this week's PSAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for their impressive efforts that landed them atop of the PSAC as well as Division II.

Edinboro junior Jason Borst placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.40 this past weekend at the Jesse Owens Track Classic hosted by Ohio State. Borst’s time in the event, which featured athletes from five Big Ten teams, is the sixth-fastest in the NCAA Division II so far this season and the best in the PSAC. Borst came up short of the victory by less than a second behind Michigan State’s Keenan Michael, who had a winning time of 52.12.

Drew Miller competed at Lock Haven’s Elliston Invitational this past weekend and finished with an NCAA automatic qualifying mark in the triple jump with a distance of 50’- 8 ¾” and a provisional mark in the long jump with a mark of 23’-11 ¾”. Miller went on to win triple jump and finish second in the long jump in the meet. Currently Miller is the only PSAC automatic or provisional qualifier in triple jump this year and is tied for fifth in Division II, Miller is also tied for 12th in the nation in the long jump. He is a four-time PSAC champion and three-time NCAA participant in triple jump throughout his career.
