PSAC Lacrosse Athletes of the Week - 8
Lock Haven, Pa. - East Stroudsburg's Molly O'Hara and Gannon's Taryn Millerd are the final PSAC Lacrosse Athletes of the Week of the 2010 season after each helped their teams to a pair of wins last week to earn the respective No. 3 seeds for the PSAC Tournament out of their divisions.
PSAC East Player of the Week

O'Hara earns her second PSAC East Player of the Week award of the season after recording a total of 13 goals and two assists for 15 points and also adding 13 draw controls in a 2-1 week for the Warriors. She opened the week by scoring five goals, recording one assist and controling four draws in a 16-8 non-conference win over Georgian Court, which was just the second loss of the year for them. She then went for three goals and seven draw controls in a loss to West Chester. On Saturday, in a matchup with Shippensburg in which the winner would advance to the PSAC Tournament and the loser would have its season end, O'Hara scored five goals, dished out one assist and controlled two draws in a 12-9 win over the Red Raiders. Three of her goals came in the final 10 minutes of the contest.
PSAC West Player of the Week

Millerd recorded 16 goals in two games last week for the Golden Knights, including the game-winners in both games, helping them wrap up the third seed in the West for this week's PSAC Tournament. In recording her first PSAC West Player of the Week award of the season, she also recorded 12 ground balls, three draw controls and caused eight turnovers. In a 16-3 win over Edinboro, Millerd scored seven goals, including the game-winner, scooped up four ground balls, had two draw control and caused two turnovers. In an 18-11 win over Slippery Rock, she went for nine goals, including the game-winner, had eight ground balls and caused six turnovers and helped the Knights rally from a 9-5 deficit, scoring six goals during a 10-0 run that put Gannon up for good 15-9. The nine goals were a season high. Millerd enters the conference tournament having recorded six straight hat tricks. She also has hat tricks in 15 of 17 matches this year and has scored in 35 straight matches dating back to the 2008 season.
