California's Brice Myers and East Stroudsburg's Paul Wagner have been named this week's PSAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week as both athletes turned in impressive performances this past week.

California junior Brice Myers won the 110 meter hurdles and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships on Saturday at the Ed Fry Invitational hosted by IUP. Myers finished the race with a personal-best time of 14.64 seconds to win the event by seven-tenths of a second over his teammate Oduho. Myers competed in the event for only the second time this outdoor season and his time is already the fastest this season in the PSAC and ranks him just outside the top 20 nationally in the event.

Paul Wagner- East Stroudsburg

East Stroudsburg senior Paul Wagner competed at the ESU All-American Meet on Saturday. Wagner broke his own school and PSAC record in the hammer with a throw of 203’-2”. The mark is an NCAA automatic qualifier which ranks seventh in Division II this season. In the meet he also won the shot put with a mark of 47’-7 ¾” which is among the top seven in the league. However, Wagner has a previous best of 49’-3 ½” which ranks third in the PSAC. He is also ranked fourth in the PSAC in discus this season with a mark of 148’-7”. Wagner is a two-time defending PSAC champion in hammer, along with being named an All-American last year. This is the third time that Wagner has been named athlete of the week through the spring season.
