Bloomsburg's Ricky Dove posted an impressive effort and has been selected as the PSAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Dove went an overall 6-2 this past week, which includes going 3-1 at number one singles and 3-1 at number one doubles. Both of Dove's losses came at the hands of a Division I opponent, Penn State's Ryan Gormley. However, in Dove's three wins in singles play against Millersville, Dowling, and West Chester, he managed to drop just 10 games. In doubles play at number one Dove was an impressive 3-0 with teammate Brandon Cummings including a big come-from-behind win against Dowling College by a score of 9-7. Then, Dove was teamed with Fernando Perez to take on Penn State's Gormley and Cohen, but suffered a defeat by a score of 8-3. On the season Dove is now 16-8 in singles play and 13-7 and had been riding a six match win streak into the match against Penn State.
