Lock Haven, Pa. - Three PSAC men's and three PSAC women's basketball teams have been selected to their respective NCAA Tournament fields as the NCAA announced the Division II tournament fields on Sunday evening. PSAC champion IUP as well runner-up Kutztown and PSAC East co-champion East Stroudsburg were selected to the men's tournament. National No. 1 and PSAC champion Gannon heads the women's field and the Golden Knights were joined in the field by PSAC tournament runner-up California and PSAC East champion Millersville.
Under a new format this year, the NCAA Atlantic Regional will be played a two different sites, with both the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds hosting the first two rounds. The highest remaining seed after the first two rounds will then host the regional championship game. Under that format, both Gannon and California will each host the first and second rounds in the women's tournament, while IUP and West Liberty will host on the men's side.
