A pair of East Stroudsburg Warriors, Frank Fezza and Drew Miller, have been awarded the Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors for the first week of the 2010 outdoor season.


Men’s Track

Frank Fezza – East Stroudsburg

Freshman Frank Fezza had an impressive debut at the Lynchburg Invitational hosted by Lynchburg College. Fezza claimed first place finishes in the 800 meter run and 1500 meter run. Fezza posted the second best time in the PSAC in the 800 with a time of 1:56:70, and the best time in the 1500 with a time of 3:57.76. Fezza placed 6th in the 3000 and anchored the second place 4x800 during the indoor track season.
 

Men’s Field

Drew Miller

Junior field athlete Drew Miller claimed victories in the long jump and triple jump while participating in the Lynchburg Invitational hosted by Lynchburg College. Miller won the triple jump with a jump of 50'-0 1/2", and a long jump of 23'-1 1/2". Both his jumps are the best distances in the PSAC, while his triple jump ranks as the second best time in all Division II, just missing the automatic qualifying bid by two inches. Miller is a three-time NCAA participant in the triple jump including this past indoor season, while winning four of the last five PSAC Championships.
