PSAC Lacrosse Athletes of the Week - 1
Lock Haven, Pa. - Millersville’s Liz Weekley and Mercyhurst’s Kimberly Masterton are the inaugural PSAC Lacrosse Athletes of the Week of the 2010 season. Weekley helped the Marauders to a win in their season opener last week while Masterton helped Mercyhurst to a 3-0 start by averaging 3.3 goals and 2.0 assists in the Lakers’ three wins over the last two weeks.
PSAC East Player of the Week

Weekley, who was the final PSAC East Player of the Week last season, is the first Player of the Week out of the Eastern Division this year after she recorded four goals and four assists to help lead Millersville to a season-opening 21-5 win over Shepherd last Thursday. She scored her four goals on a team-high nine shots and also caused two turnovers, had one ground ball, two draw controls and committed just one turnover.
PSAC West Player of the Week
Kimberly Masterton, Mercyhurst
Junior, Midfielder
Penfield, N.Y./Penfield
Masterton recorded a total of 10 goals and six assists for 16 points to help Mercyhurst begin the season 3-0. In the season opener at St. Andrews, she notched three goals and two assists and also had a ground ball and two caused turnovers in a 17-8 Laker win. In a 21-10 win over Queens (N.C.), she scored six goals, dished out one assist, and had four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Finally, at Kutztown on Saturday in a PSAC crossover match, she scored one goal and had three assists in a 20-4 win over the Golden Bears.
