California's Brice Myers and IUP's Nafee Harris turned in performances that are currently among Division II's best and have been selected as PSAC Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

This past week at the Al Hall Freedom Games in Edinboro, Cal's junior Brice Myers captured a first place finish in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 8.21. His time provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA Championships and ranks him 13th in the nation and second in the confrence. He also took the win in the triple jump in his first appearence of the year in that event.

IUP sophomore Nafee Harris took over the top spot in the nation in the long jump and automatically qualified for the NCAA meet with a top performance of 24 feet, 10 ½ inches at the Penn State National Meet on Friday in State College. Harris easily eclipsed the NCAA automatic standard in the long jump and will be seeking his third All-America honor in the event at the national meet in March in Albuquerque, N.M. He was fifth at the NCAA indoor meet last winter, and in the spring became the first IUP athlete to win a national championship in a jumping event at the NCAA outdoor meet.
