Clarion freshman JAMES FLEMING registered three wins against top competition at the Virginia Duals.  For his efforts, he has been named the PSAC Athlete of the Week in Wrestling.

Fleming went 3-0 against some of the nation's top competition at this past weekend's Virginia Duals.  In the opening match of the weekend, he registered a 17-2 technical fall over Old Dominion's John Nicholson who was ranked 29th in the 149 pound weight class.

Perhaps his most impressive showing came with a pin over Oklahoma State starter Quinten Fuentes, who entered the tournament with a 14-6 record with a team-high 11 pins.  Fleming downed Fuentes, ranked 18th in Division I,  in 4:06.  

Fleming capped the weekend with another pin, coming in 3:46 against Michigan's Mike Sears.  His 3-0 record moved the true freshman to 14-5 on the season.
