IUPs RYAN KENNEDY led the Crimson Hawks to the team title at the Hal Hansen Invitational and has earned acclaim as the PSAC Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week.

Kennedy was the top scorer from a PSAC school, finishing third overall at the recent Hal Hansen Invitational hosted by Clarion University.  His 2-under 142 was only one stroke off the medalist showing, shared by golfers from Ohio Valley and Davis & Elkins. 

His effort led IUP to the team title, as the Crimson Hawks registered a two-day total of 568, 13 strokes ahead of Ohio Valley in second place.  His second-round score of 73 followed an opening-round 69, which put him in a tie atop the leaderboard after the first 18 holes.
