Krakowski helped Gannon to three wins in four duals over the last week while also coming within a few hundreths of a second of an NCAA ‘B’ time in the 50 freestyle. He was the top Division II finisher in the 50 free and his 200 medley relay team was also the top Division II finisher in that event as the Golden Knights won the duals vs. Notre Dame and John Carroll. Then, in a dual meet win over Allegheny, Krakowski shaved .60 of a second off his 50 free time from earlier in the week and won the event in a time of :21.37, which was just .06 of a second short of an NCAA ‘B’ time and broke the school record in that event.
