Rinker fired a two-day score of 157 to win individual honors at the Gannon Fall Invitational this past weekend. She opened with an 80 on the par-72 Lake Shore Country Club, which placed her in a three-way tie for second, five strokes off the pace. However, her second-day 77 was two strokes better than the entire field and at seven strokes better than anyone in the top two spots following the first day.
It was the second medalist trophy for Rinker this fall, previously winning the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational in her collegiate debut. Her effort fueled a runner-up team showing for her Golden Eagles, which finished eight strokes back of tournament host Gannon. The PSAC was represented by four schools in the seven-team tournament.
