Lock Haven, Pa: Louglin and Colton dominate on the offense and have been selected PSAC Athletes of the Week. Loughlin continues to put up goals for Millersville as it clinched the top seed out of the Eastern Division. Colton, who scored three goals on the week, has netted seven goals in his last nine games.

Kyle Loughlin of Millersville picks up his fourth PSAC Athlete of the Week honors this season after scoring both game-winners in Millersville’s 2-0 week. In the 2-0 victory against Bloomsburg, Loughlin put up a goal in the 26th minute and added an assist in the 62nd minute on Ethan Daubert’s insurance goal as Millersville clinched the top spot out of the PSAC East. On Saturday the Marauders faced Wheeling Jesuit and came up with another 2-0 victory with the help of Loughlin’s header two minutes into the second half off of a throw in by Daubert. He is tied for the first in the PSAC in game-winning goals with five on the season. He has 23 points on the season with nine goals and five assists, matching his career- high point total he had recorded the previous season.


Western Division
Billy Colton-Mercyhurst

Billy Colton came up with three goals during Mercyhurst’s 2-0 week and is this week’s PSAC Athlete of the Week for the Western Division. Colton helped the Lakers’ tie the game up in the 28th minute during the 2-1 win on the road against Lock Haven. On Saturday, the junior scored twice during a 10-minute span of four goals in the first half of the 4-0 shutout over Bloomsburg. He scored the first and fourth goals for the Lakers, earning the game- winner. Colton is now fourth place all-time in program history with 37 career goals and has recorded 11 multi-goal games during his career. On the season, he has scored seven goals in the nine games played.
