- PSAC Men's, Women's Soccer
Championships Set

Both the men's and women's title matches for the
2007 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Soccer Championships have now been
determined.
For the men, second-seeded Lock Haven travels to
top-ranked E. Stroudsburg on Saturday for a 1 p.m.
start. The women's title will be decided on
Sunday at 1 p.m. as the Eastern Division's No. 1
seed West Chester hosts the No. 1 seed out of the
Western Division in Slippery Rock.
Ticket prices for both events are $7 for adults and
$2 for students. Students from PSAC
institutions will be admitted free with a valid I.D.
Lock Haven advanced to the championship match with
its 3-0 win over Millersville in the semifinals on
Wednesday. The Bald Eagles are looking for
their first title since 2004 when they defeated West
Chester, 2-0.
E. Stroudsburg is the defending champion and will
try for its 18th championship as the Warriors have
won 12 of the last 15 titles. ESU and Lock
Haven meet in the PSAC final for the 16th time, with
E. Stroudsburg winning 10 of those decisions.
For the women, defending champion West Chester seeks
its second title in school history while Slippery
Rock looks for its third title since 2003.
West Chester advanced to the championship match with
a 3-0 semifinal victory over E. Stroudsburg.
Slippery Rock returns to the PSAC game after posting
a 2-0 decision against Edinboro.
