Slippery Rock senior Matt Bluman won the 2007 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's cross country individual title, narrowly defeating runner-up Dave Niemara of Edinboro. Bluman finished the course in 26:18 while Niemara crossed the finish line in 26:21.50.

Edinboro edged out Slippery Rock for the team title as three Fighting Scots placed in the top five to finish with 33 points. Slippery Rock claimed four of the top 10 runners and finished with 41 points. Lock Haven earned third place with 103 points.

Mansfield's Chris Cummings made the most of the 50th men's cross country championship, becoming the school's first four-time All-PSAC selection with his third-place finish in a time of 26:24.50.

The top 20 finishers earn all-conference honors.

All the teams will be back in action next week at Lock Haven for the NCAA East Regional Championships.
