2005 PSAC Golf Championship
(Wren Dale Golf Course | Hummelstown, Pa.)

Hummelstown, Pa. -- Clarion University shot a 12 over team score of 300 on day two, overcoming a one-stroke deficit and claiming the 2005 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Fall Golf Championship held at Wren Dale Golf Club. 

The Golden Eagles trailed Indiana (Pa.) by one stroke after Saturday's round, but the Indians posted a 305 in the final round to finish with a two-day total of 608, four off Clarion's pace of 604.

Clarion was led by medalist Justin Moose, whose two day 150 total tied him for the best score of the tournament.  Moose defeated IUP's Brian Galica on the second playoff hole for the medalist honors.  The Golden Eagles also got help from Tom Will (151 T3), Charlie Fitzsimmons (151 T3) and Justin Scott (152 T5).  Both Scott and Galica claimed the low round of the day, firing a one-over 73.

Along with the aforementioned, the top 10 (plus ties) earn All-PSAC status.

For Clarion, it is the school's eighth conference title, the last of which came in 2002.  This was the 50th PSAC Championship.
